This is a pretty good article, most is common sense, but good to read in a condensed area. Some things I don't agree with is keeping heel height no higher than 2 inches(5cm)? I definitely do NOT agree with this for dressier or formal attire. When I am dressed up I feel best in a 4 inch heel. I also do not agree with skirt or dress length. I have always been told a couple inches above knee. Just below the knee, unless a super form fitting pencil skirt looks dumpy. I honestly don't know how a petite could pull off mid-length dresses.
As part of the Grand Central development the store is new, shiny and polished but I was expecting some serious wow factor! As much as I think the store is great, as soon as you step foot inside you could be in any John Lewis store in the UK. With all the hype surrounding this opening I was expecting the designers to pull out all the stops and create something truly breathtaking....for that reason i was slightly disappointed.
Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-NY: H.R. 3 is actually dangerous for women's health. By refusing to provide any exceptions to women who are facing serious health conditions-cancer, heart or whatever that may be-you are forcing women to choose to risk their health or to risk bankruptcy, and I think that is morally unacceptable. Under H.R. 3, a woman facing cancer who needs to terminate a pregnancy in order to live might have to go into debt over the $10,000 that the legal and necessary procedure could cost. Despite having both health insurance and tax-preferred savings accounts, this bill would prevent her from having that.
